Top Five Superbowl Commercials 2018

While most watched for the halftime show last night – who could resist Justin Timberlake’s greatest hits – the Superbowl commercials this year were ones to watch.

Check out’s top five:

1.Amazon’s ‘Alexa Lost her voice’:

In this star studded commercial Amazon’s Alexa, one of the companies most well-known and beloved home assistant, loses her voice. In a mad panic we see breaking news across the screen and company execs panicking about what to do now, when a staffer comes forward with the backup voices that will save the day. With Cameos from Cardi B, Gordon Ramsey, Rebel Wilson and more, it follows customers who are looking for music, recipes, and those trying to call a friend as these celebs hilariously fail at maintaining Alexa’s standards.

Famous for their superbowl commercials, Pepsi-Cola have had some great hits over the years, from Michael Jackson, Cindy Crawford, Britney, Beyonce and now they’re celebrating the Pepsi that is for every generation. In a montage of Pepsi ads throughout the years, the stars of the most famous commercials are back to recreate their signature campaigns. This time around Cindy’s son is the model buying a can of Pepsi but the mommy model has still got it. Proving that it really is a drink for everyone, it’s catchy, light hearted and is one of the main advertisers for the Superbowl 52.

3. Jeep ‘2018 Wrangler’:

For any fans of Jurassic Park or Jurassic World out there, prepare to feel old. Jeep’s 2018 commercial shows our favourite Ian Malcolm played by the great Jeff Goldblum, as he is chased through what appears to be the island in which the Jurassic series is set. And who might you ask is following him, none other than a blood thirsty t-rex. The clip shows the star in a flashback to the first film and flashes forward to 2018 with the new Jeep Wrangler, as a sales assistant walks over and asks if he would like to take a test drive, his response ‘I already have’, of course the timing is perfect as Jurassic World: The Lost Kingdom premieres later this year.

4. Eli Manning Odell Beckham JR. NFL:

New York Giants quarter back Manning and their wide receiver Beckham JR had their own cameo during the Superbowl, in a Dirty Dancing themed training session. While they may not have made it to the Superbowl, the giants stole the show with their version of Dirty Dancing Manning played Johnny castle in this hilarious parody of the 1987 dance number to ‘(I’ve had) The Time of My Life’, while Beckham played Fraces ‘Baby’ Houseman. The commercial was so popular even the star of the reboot Abigail Breslin commended the NFL players for their outstanding skills in the famous lift sequence.

5. Doritos vs Mountain Dew:

With cameos from Morgan Freeman and Peter Dinklage, Doritos take on Mountain Dew in a collab so great it made the coveted spot on our list at number 5. Dinklage had #spitfire lip singing to busta rhymes as he walked through fire with a bag of doritos blaze chips while Freeman kept it cool with verses from Missy Elliot as he drank an ice cold mountain dew in what looks like Jack Frosts mega mansion. But, only one can win. Will it be #spitfire or #icecold? To be honest, it’s a shame Freeman wasn’t Mr Freeze – talk about a missed opportunity.
