Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation claims to do a lot of things; it claims that it is sweat, heat and humidity proof for up to 25 hours and is also described as being transfer resistant. So I decided to put it to the test.
First of all, the best thing about this make-up is that it won’t break the bank with the price ranging from €8.50 to €10.50 depending on where you buy it. It comes in seven shades so there is one for every type of skin tone.
The first thing I noticed following the application of the foundation was that it was very light on my skin, so much so that if I hadn’t put the make up on myself I probably would not have believed I was wearing make-up. The after effects were also surprising as this was one of the first foundations I had ever used were my face did not break out from wearing it daily for a week without a break.
I am not the kind of person who wears make-up to the gym, but after a long day in college the last thing I want to do is worry about washing off my make-up before I work up a sweat. So this gave me the perfect opportunity to test the claim that the foundation was ‘sweat, heat and humidity proof.’ And do you know what? It was, and I sweat a lot.
This also meant that it was long lasting as I had applied it at 6am and here we were at 8pm and it was still providing me with amazing coverage.
I can also back up the fact that it is transfer resistant as if you rub your hand over your face, or like me use your hand to hold up your head, you will find no trace of the foundation on your hand. This foundation is working out to be quite a dream come true.
I would recommend Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation to all of my friends. It does exactly what it says it does. My skin feels smooth while the foundation is applied, and it provides great coverage and due to the fact that the variety in shades is so natural, it is suitable for everyday wear.
I have also found that personally my bronzer and blush last that bit longer when used alongside this product.
So essentially what I am saying is I love it!
10/10, 5 gold stars.
