In the spring semester of 2009 we conducted a pilot project, offering 4 selected students a journalist internship role on Campus.ie. Due to its great success we have continued to develop this programme. Our current Summer intern session is coming to an end and we are now seeking new Journalist Interns for the coming year. The internship will run for the full academic session.

The successful candidates will be required to work in a team of two on rotation basis to produce student-focused articles and features for national publication on Campus.ie. Responsibilities will include research, writing, editing, online publication.

Training will be provided in all areas and you will work closely with the senior website editor. This is a unique, exciting and challenging opportunity to gain valuable experience for those wishing to pursue a career in journalism, PR, Digital media or related fields. While being provided with training and the opportunity to be published in an established national media, interns can develop their portfolio and build on industry contacts.
