Campus.ie currently have an opening for an editor for our Politics section of our website, and we're looking for new applications from student writers.
Campus.ie is Ireland’s largest independent student website, publishing articles on a huge range of student relevant topics, including sports, lifestyle, politics and fashion. We currently have an opening for a new section editor for the Politics portion of our site and are excited to welcome applications from any and all student writers.

Do you have Prime Time, Leader's Questions and Tonight with Vincent Browne taping every week? Always find yourself arguing with family members about all things Trump and Brexit? If so, we want to hear from you. Students are a very politically clued-in group but are constantly overlooked when covering national or international politics. Our Politics editor knows that our contributors know more than they're given credit for.

If you have experience with:
  • Sub-editing.
  • Coming up with ideas for articles/ content creation.
  • Coordinating a team.

Then we want to hear from you!

Writing and editing for Campus is an amazing opportunity to gain real-world experience working with a national website and to hone your skills as a journalist/editor. We also are in partnership with Independent News and Media and are in a position to offer our best contributors each year a summer internship with INM, which is invaluable experience in the world of journalism.

If you think you fit the bill and are interested in joining the team, please forward your CV, two examples of your work (articles you've written, blogposts etc.) and a cover letter explaining why you’d be great for the position to editor@campus.ie by this Friday the 10th of February. Good luck!
