An Australian tourism official unwittingly created an internet sensation by censoring a picture of a kangaroo. The decision to censor the picture of ‘Big Baz’ drew criticism from many, who failed to the see the funny side of the photo. Campus can dismiss reports that Big Baz has been approached by Hugh Heffner to appear as a centrefold in Playgirl.

HMV to reopen

Just eight months after their closure, four HMV stores will reopen next month. The shops on Dublin’s Henry Street, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Dundrum Town Centre and Limerick’s Crescent Shopping Centre.

He’s out

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has  has revealed he is gay. The 41-year-old actor made the announcement in a letter in which he revealed he would not be travelling to Russia for an upcoming film festival. Russia has come under increasing international scrutiny in recent months over its treatment of gay men and women.

One is not amused

One of the Queen’s swans has been found barbecued on a riverbank near to her Windsor Castle residence. Historically killing a swan in Britain counted as an act of treason, and the birds are still protected under conservation legislation.
