It has been revealed that MPs, Lords and parliamentary staff in Westminster have been trying to access been trying to access porn sites – potentially thousands of times. A Freedom of Information request from the Huffington Post UK has shown that users of the Parliamentary Network servers have repeatedly tried to access websites deemed pornographic between May 2012 and July 2013. Them politicians must get nothing done. Is that why Dave Cameron is looking to put a cap on porn in Britain?

Big men

So you think you’re a big fella do you? Well you’re right. Researchers in England and Australia have confirmed that the average height of European men has increased by 11 centimetres between the mid-1800s and 1980.

Crowded classrooms

Around one-in-three school pupils in some parts of the country are now in “supersize” classroom of more than 30 children. As enrolment in primary schools rise, average class sizes are getting bigger almost everywhere in the country. We’re plagued with the craters (or the teachers are emigratin').

Man idiot sign

A man in Ohio has been forced to wear an “idiot” sign as punishment for threatening to kill a police officer. 58-year-old Richard Dameron was ordered by a judge to write an apology to the officer and wear the sign around his neck every day for three hours outside a police station in Cleveland.

£1 wedding

And finally, a savvy bride and groom in Britain spend just £1 (€1.20) on their wedding day. Georgina Porteous and Sid Innes requested that guests bring home-made food and drink to the reception in their barn at home. The bride’s mother conducted the ceremony and her aunt baked the wedding cake and took the photographs. The bride herself, who is an artist, made the couple’s rings from antlers and designed her own bouquet.
