Student Startup, a week long programme for students interested in startups, are hosting an inspiring Evening Event at 6pm on Wednesday, August 26th.
The event, which takes place in Dublin’s Science Gallery will see students and guests mix over talks and panel discussions from leading speakers and startup veterans.
Paul Adams of Intercom, who was foundational in building Google+, including being a patent holder for Circles, will open the evening with a talk on his journey in design and the growing importance of design in products.
His previous talk on the future of the web is one of the most viewed presentations online. Fortune magazine also described Paul as “one of Silicon Valley's most wanted.”
Donal Cahalane, Vice President of Growth and Marketing at Teamwork, and Brian Caulfield, Partner at Draper Esprit, will speak about the most crucial elements of growing a startup in Ireland today.
They will cover everything from Teamwork’s phenomenal growth to 1.7 million active users, to the Irish tax laws which discourage entrepreneurship and investments.
The Evening Event will be the perfect opportunity for students to meet and network with founders, developers, designers, members of Dublin’s startup community and other students, as they spend their evening learning from both speakers and fellow attendees.
Tickets are free but need to be booked in advance at
