It’s back! ReachOut.com has launched its third annual Inspire a Generation short film competition.

ReachOut Ireland is looking for budding filmmakers and animators to illustrate inspirational ways for young people to get through tough times through a two-minute film.

Inspire a Generation is a national film competition to promote positive attitudes to mental health and challenge current stereotypes around the issue.

ReachOut are firstly looking for your initial concepts – an outline of your story and production plans. Then 10 entries will be shortlisted to go into production.

The overall prize is €2,000 and an internship with leading Irish ad agency Cawley-Nea. The runner-up will win €1,000 and the third-place prize is €500.

The competition is open to individuals aged 18—30 who are resident in Ireland.

This competition is best suited to film or animation graduates with experience in developing short multi-media pieces for online use.
