Amidst all the worry and confusion surrounding an uncertain future, third level students nationwide have finally found a voice. Colledge121.com is Ireland's first online college radio station and resource centre in one, which is aimed specifically at third level students.

The Internet-only radio station, colledge121.com, has launched nightly broadcasting from 5pm - 1am and students from all over Ireland can tune in to hear frequent discussions on issues affecting third level students.

As well as the nightly broadcasts, the online station is highly interactive, and features topical podcasts as well as up-to-date information on all relevant educational and social issues.

The nightly broadcasts offer a bit of everything and varies from light entertainment shows to tackling meatier subjects that are in the student interest. Upcoming bands, social events and college sports are all on the websites agenda while students will also be kept informed on the issues affecting them. Podcasts concerning contraception and the student march are among the latest offerings to be found on the website.

While it is still early days for the station, which was founded by Joe McGill, a former West Limerick 102FM DJ, the variation of content has proved popular with students. Recent interviews from the education not emigration student march have proved especially popular and it is believed that the station's star will only continue to rise.
