HOMEZE tells you everything you need to know.
Moving out for the first time often means a whole new load of things you have to learn - like paying bills, saving energy and what a GPRN is!
The Gas Point Reference Number (GPRN) is the number that Gas Networks Ireland and your suppliers use to locate where your premises is connected to the network.
Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the natural gas connection for every commercial and residential property in Ireland. Regardless of your supplier, Gas Networks Ireland provides you with natural gas.
Your GPRN is displayed on the top right hand corner of your electricity bill received from your supplier, and is 7 digits long. If you have just moved into a property and don’t have your GPRN number, ask your property manager or landlord for this information.
You can also get your GPRN by calling Gas Networks Ireland on 1850 200 694. This is the best way to find your number if you’re moving into a house that has just been built.
You can watch a clever video here which explains it further.
