Corporate Banking Ireland is a key strategic business unit within AIB Group with a portfolio comprising the majority of medium and large sized Irish companies, as well as Irish based subsidiaries of multinational companies.
Opportunities now exist at Graduate level in Corporate Banking for suitably qualified candidates. We are seeking individuals who have an interest in pursuing a career developing strong credit and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Play a key role in the execution of a strategic plan for the sustainment and growth of key business sectors for Corporate Banking Ireland.
  • Implement the customer relationship strategy for corporate clients.
  • Assist in the development and maintain a culture of high performance, strong customer focus and compliance that is reflective of the AIB Behaviours.
  • Continue to play a key role in the management of the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio from a credit and risk perspective, ensuring that adherence to AIB policies, procedures and codes of best practice is appropriately monitored.
  • Minimum Criteria for this role:
Shortlisted candidates will require
  • A minimum of a 2.2 honours degree in a business or finance related degree
  • Candidates will need to pass an aptitude test as part of the screening process
  • Experience of team work and dealing with customers is beneficial

Credit assessment and credit management skills
  • Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively.
  • Commitment to managing and maintaining a strong relationship with existing clients through the provision of a first class quality customised service to a broad customer base.
  • Business acumen and business development capabilities to maximise AIB Corporate Banking’s presence in the marketplace.
  • A significant level of comfort with IT office systems and financial modelling skills.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to identifying, targeting & developing new business.
