Nights Out

Making the Most of Your Night Out

Who’s gonna lie, we all love a night out. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or heading to a gig, you’re going to want to make the most out of it. Here are our top tips for making the most of a night out and staying safe.

Make a meetup spot

There is no worse way to ruin a night out than losing your friends. We’ve all been there, one minute they’re right behind you and the next you’re looking for the gals in amongst a sea of people. Agree on a meetup spot beforehand perhaps, outside the bathroom or by the main door. This way, if you do get lost, you know they’ll be there waiting in said spot.

Have your phone fully charged

Ok so this one sounds like a given but sometimes i’m so rushed getting dressed that I forget to plug in my phone. My power bank has saved me numerous times.

A secret stash

Keep enough money for your taxi home in a hidden pocket of your purse. On the off chance you can’t find your friends, you don’t want to be stranded.

Avoid causing a hangover the next day

Pacing yourself and drinking water between alcoholic drinks will stop you from getting the dreaded hangover the next day. The safe amount of alcohol for men and women varies.

Did you know that the body only processes one standard drink per hour? A standard drink equates to one small glass of wine (100ml), a half pint of beer (284ml) or a pub measure of spirits (35.5ml). I

f you want to enjoy a hangover free Sunday, then pace yourself and allow your body time to process your alcohol.

Spare shoes

Nobody enjoys sore feet. We all like to dance to our heart’s content, so it’s always handy to have some flats in your bag. If you can go all night in your barely-there’s, then more power to ya’!

Lastly, let the hair down

Enjoy yourself, everyone’s entitled to have a good time! Most importantly though, Stay Yourself!
