We’re almost one month into 2018 and we have made it so far – we can pat ourselves on the back. To celebrate such a milestone, why not head to the cinema? Take your pick from any of the below films, which are coming soon to a cinema near you .

1. Insidious: The Last Key

The latest in the supernatural franchise sees brilliant parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainier, played by Lin Shaye, return to her home town to battle it out with some ghosts and ghouls from her past.

The Last Key also stars Spencer Locke, Javier Botet, Josh Stewart. Insidious 3 is directed by Adam Robitel and the script was written by Leigh Whannell of Saw fame.

This Pixar production has been nominated for Golden Globes and a BAFTA for Best Animated Picture. COCO sees 12 year old Miguel lost in the Land of the Dead as he takes a wrong turn in his quest to become a musician and discovers an ancient family history.

The cast lending their voices to this animation include Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal and Benjamin Bratt. Adrian Molina and Lee Unkrich are in the director’s chair.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Michael Shannon (Man of Steel’s General Zod) lead a team of Special Forces soldiers sent to Afghanistan after 9/11. Their mission: to take down the Taliban.

Ruth Wilson stars as a woman who returns to her home town after 15 years when she learns of the death of her father. She may have to fight for the family farm she believes is rightfully hers. Mark Stanley and Sean Bean also star.
