Situated in the striking grounds of Ballinlough Castle, Westmeath, Body & Soul Festival offers incredibly tasty food as well as a lively music scene. Festival organisers promise to offer a mouth-watering array of food selections to suit every taste and culinary need. Galway will be hosting its first International Food and Craft Festival in Salthill Park for a brilliant weekend in July. This festival guarantees three days of gourmet alfresco eating, leading artisan food producers and craft breweries, while also promoting culture and history. Crafts and entertainment will also be available for food lovers and beyond throughout the weekend. It is set to put Galway on the map for food and craft as well as emphasising the importance of healthy eating, fitness and lifestyle.

3. Enniscorthy Rockin’ Food Festival

The perfect way to spend the August Bank Holiday weekend, the Rockin’ Food Festival of Enniscorthy returns after huge success last year. Organisers promise that food enthusiasts will enjoy a fresh line up in the Free Food Marquee. A wide range of fun and exciting activities are set to take place such as cookery demos, talks and tastings as well as exceptional value food and drink fringe events. If this isn’t enough to get you excited the town’s atmosphere is set to be electric with live outdoor music; the 2019 line-up includes the best of both Irish and international Rock ‘n’ Roll talent.

4. A Taste of Donegal

The 11th annual A Taste of Donegal food festival attracted over 25,000 people last year and its expected to be even bigger this year. Large marquees, a variety of cuisine tasting, demonstrations, music and much more will be available on the Pier Area in Donegal Town. There is also a dazzling fireworks display over Donegal Bay, a perfect end to summer.
