5 Best Brunches in Dublin On A Student Budget

We all love a good brunch, whether it’s the cure after a night out or your usual Sunday fix.

However, brunch isn’t always easy on our wallet, especially if you decide to splurge on a coffee or orange juice. The bill can often cost an arm and a leg!

Here are some budget friendly options available in our fair city.

Heuvos Rancheros are a brunch favourite, and you can get them for just €4.95 in Cactus Jacks, Millenium Walkway.

Enjoy a corn tortilla with refried beans, fried egg, spicy tomato sauce, avocado and cheese. It doesn’t get much better than that.

What is brunch without Eggs Benedict? For €8 in Taste Café you can devour this classic of poached eggs, bacon and hollandaise sauce on English muffins.

Further North of Dublin you can enjoy just as delicious a brunch as anywhere else in the city. Look no further than The White Moose Café in Phibsborough.

They serve one of the cheapest brunches around with avocados and poached eggs for a fiver, “silver dollar” pancakes with caramelised bananas and nutella for €6 and steak and eggs for just €7! The quality of this brunch is superb, pay no attention to their haters.

Back in the city, BEAR on South William St are famous for their ‘Sputino Egg’, which consists of duck eggs and parma ham on bread with cheese, it is to die for and under a tenner! You can’t go wrong.

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try their pineapple and cream cheese stuffed french toast with syrup. It is to die for.
