Soulfulsinger songwriter Maverick Sabre will perform live in the Academy on August 23rd straight after the highly anticipated Kasabian and Noel Gallagher double header in Marlay Park. After a rocking Snow Patrol after party last month which saw band members take to the decks, Heineken announces a return to the Academy for another after party for Kasabian and Noel Gallagher’s show earlier in the evening. Maverick Sabre will take to the Academy stage for a full live show, his first in Dublin since February. 

London born, Irish raised Maverick Sabre has been causing quite the stir since the release of his debut mixtape, The Travelling Man back in 2010. Maverick Sabre (born Michael Stafford) originally from Hackney, London, honed his skills in New RossCounty Wexford. Later, on the recommendation of UK singer/rapper Plan B, he returned to London to pursue a musical career. He is currently showcasing his talents at numerous festivals in both Ireland and abroad, including Global Gathering in the UK. His debut album, Lonely Are The Brave was released earlier this year to much acclaim.
