Congratulations to James Byrne Who Won Two Tickets to See Breton Performing Live at Academy 2!

Breton have just announced details of a headline performance at The Academy 2 on March 27th 2012

like some weird, hooded mad professors or the bastard sons of Crystal Castles and Steve Jobs’  NME

Fresh from an incredible performance in front of 3000 people at Transmusicales Festival, multimedia masterminds Breton announce their first Irish headline show. It will take place this March in support of their debut album ‘Other People’s Problems’, which will be released on FatCat Records. Dates are as follows:

27th March – Academy 2, Dublin

Breton live is an intense, hypnotic experience as the band, shrouded in hoodies, perform to a backdrop of their self shot films and graphics – mixed in real time by their VJ in a synergy of sound, timing, rhythm and visuals. For this collective of film makers and musicians the two mediums of visual and audio are utterly integrated and of equal importance.

This ideology was highlighted when they performed at Videocrash at the Scala on 14th January 2012. This massive audio visual show saw Breton premier footage created specifically for the event by their cinematic wing BretonLABS, shown on the backdrop of a full cinema sized screen as they performed.

Tickets priced €12 inclusive of booking fee are on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and
